The Lullaby's Lament
I caught you in the floodlight through the direct summer sun. I poisoned the veins in my head with your ambulance breath. Now the sorrows are marching on the streets demanding equal pay. Do not mistake me for. A living catch-phrase American-coined. Howl, howl you fool. You fused the dance and the computer and remained opinionated. A velvet egg and the shame of a cigarette. I quit.
Despite the facts and the fear of my elders i found out i lived within a website. It carried me through and talked to people for me. It even loved. Faces were seen and they were moving their lips. I press mute.
The ferral repository of the summer of my discontent. Four thousand deaths. A missile heading southwest. Mild winds.
Disembark, my love. Switch off the lights and don't waste water. Loneliness waited he said.
Disembark, my sweet. Pull the plug. Moisturise your addictions. Shop around for a therapist. Get one free.
This digression is harrowing. It came to weep and left stumbing home drunk. It's a wifebeater. I don't want to imagine again. The heart is carved on the face of a bare mountain. It reeks of loss.
Before sleep the years are buried beneath the carpets. The family downstairs twists a handle and i move my right leg forward. The children next door comb their blonde hair and i stretch my arm pretending to hold on to something invisible.
Be visible. For now.
Disembark my love and throw your scarf into the water still blue. I'll tuck you in.
I'll tell you a story in a calm voice. It will be about a man. A man and a talking beast.

Τώρα ο τίτλος γιατί μου θυμίζει έντονα ένα πολύ πολύ όμορφο τραγούδι με υπέροχα ορχηστρικά? Αυτό είναι;
